Following on from our previous case study blog, which looked at our involvement with Boston Mayflower to create an attractive, modern office, we’re going to spotlight another project that we are incredibly proud to have been a part of.
This time, we’re going to focus on our work with international law firm Taylor Vinters and how they benefitted from our office design expertise to create a comfortable, creative break out space for their employees.
Having a place to break away from all the stresses and strains of the working day is essential, no matter what industry sector you are working in – yes, even forward thinking international law firms need to take a break at some point, too!
Taylor Vinters aren’t your average law firm. They refer to themselves as “professional yet progressive” and are regarded as a next generation law firm; taking all the experience and professionalism from the history of the industry and making them modern, up to date and relevant to the changing generations who require their help.
It was this view that enabled us to work alongside them so smoothly; after all, we’re a forward thinking office design company – same vision, different industries.
Taylor Vinters approached us with a project that could use the Officescape flair; they wanted to create an attractive, informal meeting space for their employees and visitors to sit back and relax – even work out of the office workspace if they wanted to.
“The Hub”, as it would be called, was designed to allow staff and visitors alike to sit back and relax with refreshments in an inspirational, unique space that is more informal in nature than an intimidating office space.
As this isn’t your typical office fit out, you may be wondering why Taylor Vinters approached us; after all, we only create office designs and fit outs, right?
Not at all! At Officescape, we specialise in a wide variety of interior design services, including the design and installation of relaxation areas just like the one at Taylor Vinters. We take a practical, bespoke approach to each project that we undertake – perfect for creating the unique breakout zone that Taylor Vinters were looking for.
As it turns out, Taylor Vinters loved what we did with the project, with the Facilities Manager Jane Isaacson commenting “We are thrilled, with the final result not only used at break times but offering multi-use space at all staffing levels, more recently used for staff presentations and social activities out of working hours; it has already proven a great success”.
