2016 is bringing a whole host of new interior design trends heading with it and needless to say that we’re pretty excited here at Officescape! There’s nothing more refreshing than a brand new, fresh office design to get your employees motivated to work at their full potential.
So, what are these new design trends going to be? We can’t say for sure- the nature of interior design trends is that it’s ever-changing- but we do have a few predictions that we think are going to become a much more prominent feature of offices in 2016!
Looking for some new office inspiration? Let us help you!
Bringing a bit of nature in from the outside has been an consistent trend in many offices, but we are predicting that it’s going to become a more noticeable feature in offices in 2016.
Reclaimed wood paneling and furniture made from all-natural materials should become more popular to give a more naturalistic and cosy feeling to an office space while remaining attractive and professional.
With many different materials to choose from, there’s no chance that you won’t be able to find something to fit in with your office design!
With so much technology becoming –for the most part- wireless, desks are already becoming a lot less cluttered when it comes to the amount of wires that are on show.
However, many essential peripherals such as monitors and phones do still require wires to connect them to other office items or the phone sockets. We are looking forward to more office designs using innovative and creative ways to hide their remaining wires, both on their desks and in more professional areas such as meeting or conference rooms.
Wires can be extremely distracting and make a desk look unnecessarily cluttered, so tidying them away and concealing them can really make a huge difference to the feeling and atmosphere in an office, as well as keeping your employees minds more focused on their work.
Here at Officescape, we’re loving that so many businesses are already investing in multi-purpose workspaces for their office.
It’s because of this that we’re expecting to see many more offices boasting these useful, comfortable working areas. They are incredibly flexible and enhance and encourage a variety working styles- essential for offices with employees that work better in different environments.
Are we looking at the end of fixed, permanent office layouts in favour of an adaptable, flexible space instead? Quite possibly!
Whatever 2016 has to bring us in the way of office trends, you can be sure that our office design experts here at Officescape are on the ball! We’re raring to go and ready to help you achieve the perfect office for your business, no matter what you are looking for!
